Summary of 2023 activities WTEF launched the ICP in February 2023, through its Center for Excellence (CFE) Program. CFE is an afterschool program that runs throughout the school year, September through June, and continues through the summer as CFE Summer. WTEF was initially matched with an organization in South Africa, and we had 10 students (of the 90 total enrolled) participating. Each student wrote a letter and made a video in February. However, given time difference constraints, this exchange was forced to end. WTEF was partnered with ICP Uruguay for the 2023-2024 school year, with exchanges starting in October. To date, three exchanges have taken place, in October, November, and December. WTEF has six students participating, with each providing either a written note or a video. Exchange topics were as follows: October - Introductions (name, age, where you live, why you like tennis and favorite players, about the program you are participating in, etc) November – Tennis training and favorite food December – What the holidays mean to you
